Emilie Delcourt

I am a translator, editor, and writer specializing in literary, cultural, and educational content from Spanish and Catalan into English. Over the past 18 years, I have worked with publishers, museums, production companies, and educational organizations on projects ranging from art history and audiovisual media to mathematics curriculum revision and creative localization.

My work is grounded in close attention to language, editorial precision, and cultural nuance.

Alongside my translation work, I am a published poet and I run writing workshops online. You can read about these workshops at Write Where You Are.
I was also co-editor of Parentheses, an international literary journal, and former founder and director of a Collage, a creative language school in Barcelona.

When I am not writing I like to slow down. You can find me seeking out the quietest spaces or wrangling my wild, wonderful children. It’s all a beautiful balance folks.
